‘Entrainment’ is a large-scale interactive art installation. When two people connect, it is not uncommon for their heartbeats to fall into perfect rhythm. This phenomenon has been observed by many scientific studies, but we still don’t know exactly how or why it happens. ‘Entrainment’ uses electronic sensors to translate heartbeats into pulses of light, visualizing the invisible, so that participants can explore the boundaries of the energetic, empathetic, and physical realms.
